A high school football player is being charged with attempted murder after a vicious fade he administered. The brutal beatdown occurred in the cafeteria of Frederick Douglass high school in Baltimore, and it was caught on video.

Reports WMAR-Baltimore:

ABC2 News decided not to show the very end of the video, it is not the kind of thing that needs broadcasting, not when what leads up to it is violent enough to get the disturbing picture.

The student you see in the video doing this punching is Sean Johnson, a 17 year old.

The beating happened in the cafeteria at Frederick Douglass High School Wednesday at lunch.

The victim was beaten unconscious until he had convulsions.

Students who saw the fight spoke to ABC2 but did not want to be identified.

“I don’t know why they were fighting,” the student said, “but it just went overboard…out of hand.”

Out of hand because the victim, who Baltimore City Schools officials said came to in a pool of his own blood, was transported to Shock Trauma.

He is currently in stable condition with serious injuries to his face and head.

Meanwhile on the other side of the city, Johnson sits in a jail cell held without bail and charged as an adult for attempted murder.

We don’t need to hear both sides, this is senseless. From the video, it’s clear why Johnson was charged with attempted murder. The unidentified victim suffered injuries to his head and face that required surgery.

If curiosity gets the best of you, the full video is on the flip. Be warned, it’s not for the faint of heart.
