The golden nostalgia will be shining bright in Paul Fieg’s upcoming all-female Ghostbusters reboot.
Ernie Hudson, who starred as Winston Zeddemore in the first two 1980s movies, has just signed on to film per Deadline. The 69-year-old industry vet will join his OG castmates Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd in the comedic action update. Harold Ramis, actor and writer of the two franchise movies, died in February of 2014.
The new leading cast of Ghostbusters includes Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth and Neil Casey. Production is close to being finished for the film and is expected to hit theaters on to open July 15, 2016.
