Yesterday, Jay Z posted a tweet boasting that his TIDAL streaming service has surpassed 1 million followers with a cryptic message of “Let’s celebrate” at the end featuring the numbers “10/20” at the end. Today, TIDAL has announced the TIDAL X: 10/20 Amplified by HTC music festival to take place Oct. 20 in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center.

The lineup for the festival is as star-studded as they come, with Beyoncé, Jay Z, Prince, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, T.I. and others taking the stage for the event. Up and coming acts such as Bas, Benjamin Booker, and Flatbush Zombies will also get time to shine. DJ Cipha Sounds and DJ Reflex will keep the party moving in between the sets.

While the concert is certainly designed for Jay Z and the TIDAL team to stunt a bit, there’s a deeper cause at the root. All of the funds collected from the sale of tickets will be administered by the New World Foundation on behalf of TIDAL. In return, TIDAL will match 100 percent of the net gross proceeds which will be put into the TIDAL X FUND for all pre-sale tickets.

In addition, 100 percent of the ticket sales will go to nonprofit organizations that work within “advancing positive community relations and effect systemic change for the development and sustainability of just societies” according to a press release.

Tickets are on sale right now for TIDAL members only, and will be made available to the general public this Friday at 12 p.m. ET (Oct.2). The tickets went on sale at 12 p.m. today.
