Childhood cereal favorite Lucky Charms is testing their hand at ditching the cardboard oats in their formula and handing out a few marshmallow-only boxes to lucky winners of their latest contest.
To promote the sweepstakes, they have called upon a Hip-Hop legend to not only do their bidding but pervert one of his classic records in the process.
Biz Markie is General Mills new mascot and he’s currently starring in a Lucky Charms commercial that is so twisted, it makes the 1989 video for “Just a Friend” look like Shakespearean theater. This isn’t exactly the male variation of the Salt-N-Pepa Geico commercial.
It’s understandable that opportunities for pioneering rappers are scarce and Macklemore can’t possible call on everybody, but sheesh. Watch Biz Markie’s Lucky Charms commercial down below and don’t forget to enter the contest using the #Lucky10Sweepstakes hashtag. An outtake clip can be found on the flip.
