Back in 2012, Carlos Boozer became an early meme legend when he decided to dye his balding dome with the infamous Bigen hair dye. It looked more like a wax helmet/rubber skull cap, and the slander was immaculate.
Yesterday (Oct. 27) on ESPN’s Highly Questionable, Boozer answered questions from Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones about growing up in Alaska and suing Prince. But more importantly, he explained his infamous hair fiasco. You really have to watch it, and prepare for tears of laugher.
A few important points:
•Boozer knew he was doomed and tried to wash out the hair dye the night before, repeatedly.
•He had a great game and it was on ESPN, so the whole world witnessed the struggle.
•The look on Jones’ face is priceless considering him and Le Batard were trying to figure out how to ask Boozer about his struggle hairdo without offending him.
•Prince really paid him for jacking up his crib.
