Dascha Polanco, aka Daya from Orange Is The New Black, had the Internets on fire when word got out that she had been arrested for allegedly putting hands on a teenaged girl. Today (Dec. 14), she addressed the incident on the Huffington Post, quoting Drake lyrics in the process.

“Listen, I lost the biggest thing in my life. It was my mother,” said Polanco when asked about the incident and whether it would affect OITNB. “Nobody’s gonna knock me down. No, it takes more than that. People that know me know my quality, my professionalism, who I am. They’re not worried and neither am I.”

She then paraphrased Drake and Future’s “Big Rings” for good measure after noting it was a case of someone trying to take advantage of her newfound fame.

“I got a really big team…needs really big rings… What a time to be alive.”

A gang of dudes that are Dascha Polanco, and Drake and Future fans are ready to risk it all for her.
