Currently incarcerated Harlem rapper Max B saw his name started buzzing again thanks to Kanye West flipping the name of his new album to Waves. The “Wave Daddy” called in to The Breakfast Club and said that he’s all good with Yeezy using the name and he appreciates the homage.

“It’s all love. I appreciate…I’m flattered that dude is even acknowledging the situation,” Biggavelli told The Breakfast Club. “I like Kanye, I appreciate it. I love it. Thank you.”

Max B said that’s he’s never spoken to West or to Wiz Khalifa (whose defense of the Wave originator led to Kanye’s Twitter fingers), but he appreciates both artists.

“I feel he got it from the atmosphere. And the atmosphere got it from me,” said Max about where Kanye got his inspiration. “It’s all good. That’s what art is about.”

He added, “He ain’t drop a diss record. he just called his album Waves and everybody know I’m the wavy daddy.”

And there it is. Listen to the full conversation, where he clarifies his current label situation and unauthorized documentaries, below.
