Black Hollywood will come together this weekend to celebrate some of its brightest starts. The first American Black Film Festival is gearing up to debut in Los Angeles Sunday (Feb. 21), with host Mike Epps.

Diahann Carroll, the first Black woman to star in her own television show, will be honored with the Hollywood Legacy Awards. American Crime star Regina King and House of Lies star Don Cheadle are set to receive Excellence in the Arts Awards, while Think Like A Man producer Will Packer will receive the Alumni Achievement Award. Creed director Ryan Coogler is up for the Rising Star Award.

Kerry Washington, Octavia Spencer, and Taye Diggs, are expected attendees. The event will air on BET and Centric TV Tuesday (Feb. 23) at 8 p.m.
