New video footage showing a different angle of Baton Rouge police officers Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake II shooting and killing Alton Sterling has emerged. It’s worst that the first video.

In the first video that came out Salamoni and Lake can be seen struggling with Sterling and then pinning him to the ground. After more struggling you can hear one of the officers yell “gun” before shooting Sterling in the chest.

Officers have claimed that they were responding to a 911 call about a man pulling out a gun on a homeless person outside of store and description matched Sterling. Officers went on to claim that in the struggle Sterling attempted to pull out the gun.

But in new video footage shot by the store owner Abdullah Muflahti, Sterling’s left hand can be seen pinned on the ground, while his right hand is pinned against a car. A gun was not seen in either hand.

A federal investigation has is already underway while Officers Salamoni and Lake are on paid administrative leave. Will they be protected by the justice system like so many other reckless cops?
