Black Lives Matter was founded as a way of bringing to light the ill treatment and unjust killing of Black people. USA Today reports: A “Clown Lives Matter” peace walk has been scheduled for Oct. 15 in Tucson, according to a flyer posted to Facebook. The flyer, which invites attendees to wear full clown makeup or a mask, says the walk will start at 6:30 p.m. on Fourth Avenue in Tucson, Ariz. The walk comes in response to a recent uptick in scary clown sightings and threats that have swept across the nation. To be clear, equating people who choose to dress up in clown make up to the plight of unarmed Black people being gunned down is f*cking ridiculous. Plenty of people on Twitter would agree.
