Judgment has finally come for Nick Gordon. TheGrio is reporting that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s former live-in partner has been ordered to pay $36 million dollars in a wrongful death suit to the Brown estate.

Ultimately his failure to meet court deadlines resulted in a default win for the Brown estate and lawyers for Kristina Brown’s family couldn’t be more satisfied with the decision.

“There was an urgent need, in my mind, to get justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown and that’s why I took the case. We intend to pursue, with all vigor, the full collection of the judgment,” attorney David Ware said in a statement. “We hope that in some small way this will allow Krissy’s family to continue their quest for peace.”

Gordon was living with Kristina Brown at the time she was discovered face-down and unconscious in her Atlanta home in January of 2015. After spending six months in a coma, the daughter of the legendary Whitney Houston and infamous Bobby Brown passed away on July 26, 2015. She was only 22-years-old.

Though Nick has never been charged with a crime, the Brown family has always maintained that Gordon was responsible for Kristina’s passing and now have finally gotten some closure to that situation.
