Gentrification done took the kids out the hood but ain’t take the hood out the kids. A group of children – one as young as 8 years old – mugged a 30-year-old man on the day after Thanksgiving in the Fort Greene section Brooklyn and left the unsuspecting victim clinging for dear life…to his pride.
According to Gothamist, the robbery took place after midnight on Friday, November 25 on Willoughby Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn when four kids approached the victim on the sidewalk and demanded his cell phone. The youngsters then proceeded to wail on the man before throwing him to the ground and making off with his laptop bag and cell phone.
The suspects are described as a female between the age of 12-14 years old; two males around 12-14 years old; and a boy around 8 or 9 years old.
If you happen to run into these kids notify your local authorities before you get juxed or at least have Similac and candy on hand and hope that’ll be enough for them to leave you alone.
