Top Dawg says that TDE dropped projects from two new artists, but only named one. Who is the other?
Top Dawg Entertainment delivered a lot of music this year. We got new albums from Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Isiah Rashad and newcomer Lance Skiiiwalker. Thanks to some lobbying from Lebron James, we also got the untitled unmastered release from Kendrick Lamar. Outside of SZA and Jay Rock not dropping albums, Top kept the promise he wrote down on that office whiteboard earlier this year.

But, Wednesday he tweeted out that the label also dropped two “John Doe” projects. One was from Skiiiwalker obviously, but no one knows who “John Doe 2” is. It doesn’t look like Top is saying who it is yet either.

SiR also appeared on Isiah Rashad’s album as well as Jay Rock’s 2015 release 90059. Also, for what it’s worth, TDE’s Wikipedia page now has SiR listed as an artist.
No one has come forth to confirm a signing, but SiR has said that “2016 was good to me” on Twitter.
