Lamar Odom is out of rehab and opening up about the ups and downs he’s been through over the last few years.
Odom ended 2016 on a bittersweet note. He was still having struggles with addiction, but he did check himself into rehab to get help.
Now that he’s out, he is looking forward to living the rest of his life completely sober and being “high on life” instead. In an interview with The Doctors, Odom talked about how rehab has changed his life and improved his relationship with his children. He admits that he does think about getting high from time to time, but that the thoughts go away as fast as they appear.
When asked what his biggest goal was moving forward, he gave a surprising answer.
“Honestly, I want my wife back,” he said. “Khloe is important to me. She’s been through all of this with me. She stood right by my side. So I just want to repay her.”
He says that his biggest regret was missing out on key time with his children though.
Khloe has been out here seemingly enjoying the single life being connected to everyone from French Montana to James Harden and allegedly targeting Odell Beckham, Jr. She’s also been with Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson for a while. So, we’ll have to see how that works out. Either way, good luck to Lamar with getting better and staying that way.
