McDonald’s hosted a pair of events over the past month featuring the likes of DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland, Desiigner, and Justine Skye. Last week’s The Year In Music Celebration also served as an introductory rollout to two new sandwiches to the fast food giant’s menu in the Mac Jr. and the Grand Mac.
DJ Khaled, who was up for a Best Rap Album award for Major Key, was seen at the Year In Music event taking the stage in Los Angles’ Peppermint Club—no doubt dispensing some of his ultra-positive and self-affirming wisdom for the people. The party took place Jan. 31 and featured Bay Area rapper G-Eazy and the aforementioned Ms. Rowland among others.
The Grammy-nominated Desiigner in all his energetic glory, performed at the Hollywood launch party at Raleigh Studios for the new sandwiches on Feb. 9. Justine Skye, the 21-year-old Brooklyn singer and songwriter was also in the building. Skye recently inked a deal with Roc Nation and is prepping new material.
