Marshawn Lynch is coming out of retirement. Reports says Beast Mode will sign a 2-year with the Raiders.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news.
Lynch retired from the NFL, after playing for the Buffalo Bills and the Seattle Seahawks, back in 2015, but formally announced it a year later.
So long as Lynch passes a physical today (April 26) the Seahawks will trade him to the Raiders and he’ll sign the 2-year deal. Lynch is an Oakland native—currently home to the Raiders though they will be leaving for Las Vegas in two or three years.
We can’t wait for Marshawn to start speaking to the press again.
