Rapper Blac Youngsta has surrendered to authorities investigating a shooting involving Young Dolph back in February.

According to TMZ, Youngsta and two men surrendered to authorities in Charlotte yesterday (May 16) after warrants were issued for their arrest.

Per the Charlotte Observer, Youngsta (born Sammie Benson), Frederick Black and Antavius Gardner were charged with six counts each of discharging a weapon into occupied property and felony conspiracy by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

In February, an SUV Young Dolph was riding in got lit up with 100 bullets during CIAA weekend. Dolph still made it to the show, though.

Wild speculation followed, with most theories pointing to a rivalry between Dolph and fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti as to what led to the shooting. Blac Youngsta is signed to Yo Gotti’s label.

Dead rappers get better promotion, as Jadakiss said, but we really don’t need anymore.
