Fashionista reports that on May 18, Manhattan’s Community Board No. 2 denied that proposed Louis Vuitton x Supreme pop-up at 25 Bond Street. during the launch of the brands’
The meeting’s notes, besides the unanimous decision, reveal that the board was not falling for the hype.
“Therefore Be It Resolved that CB2 Manhattan STRONGLY recommends DENIAL of the Louis Vuitton/Supreme (Product) Launch, Bond St. between Lafayette St. and Bowery to be held from 6/29/17 – 7/2/17.”
Well, now you know the window of when the Supreme x Louis Vuitton collection will drop. Where in NYC, besides the proper store on Lafayette St., is now in limbo. As are your July 4 Weekend funds.
The infamous Supreme lineups, which nixed their release of sneakers at the NYC Supreme store, were cited by the board as cause for concern, amongst other issues, like security and public urination.
