2 Chainz goes for a high fashion trap house look with his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album cover.

After finally revealing the June 16 release date, 2 Chainz is showing us the cover for his fourth studio album.

The cover was created by his new friend and designer Trouble Andrew of GUCCHIHOST fame. 2 Chainz calls the album and art a “street artistic expression.”

The design is effective. It speaks directly to the title with the pink background and pink trap house emphasizing the “pretty” aesthetic. The universal “like” icon taking the place of the actual word speaks to the younger generation. The most impressive element of the cover is how the color scheme allows for 2 Chainz‘ name and the word “trap” to be the main focus from afar.

Now, does it “look” good? That’s up for debate. The odd placing of the tornado and green eye in the sky definitely makes the cover look amateur or just weird. Having three different fonts on one cover is usually a no-no, but judging from Trouble Andrew‘s work, he doesn’t take conventional methods into consideration often.
