Trap has officially gone worldwide. Check out Chinese rap group Higher Brother’s new single “Franklin.”

The “Franklin” video was debuted today by NPR music and it’s definitely interesting. The three-man group hails from Chengdu, China and have mastered the “Migos flow” so much that they can spit it in their native tongue. They aren’t just putting words together either, they are rapping about some hardcore gangsta sh*t here. One line that sticks out is what they rap about robbing because they are so poor they can’t afford ice cream.

But the most gangsta thing about the song is the fact that it exists and is viewable in America. Somehow, the group has managed to break through China‘s “Great Firewall” that prevents people living there from uploading and viewing certain material to the internet. Surely, rapping about guns has to be on the prohibited list.
