Wypipo are afraid of Wakanda. In the least shocking news from this past weekend, White critics are labeling the Black Panther movie poster too militant.
While Black folks were celebrating the epicness of the first Black Panther trailer and the equally dope movie poster. Scary-ass White folks from the All Lives Matter crew found something to complain about. The imagery from the movie was called “too militant” and compared to the iconic photo of real life Black Panther Party co-founder Huey Newton.
While the comparison is valid, the “militant” label is not because T’Challa is not holding any weapons in his hands. Fortunately, most people saw through the BS and reacted accordingly. Black Panther will be in theaters next February. Black History Month is about to be lit.
