Remember that Ferrari with the apple-red candy paint that Drake blessed 21 Savage with for his birthday last year? Well, it turns out that Drizzy didn’t actually buy it for him.
During an interview on Real 92.3 in LA, 21 cleared up the misconception about that now famous IG post which had everyone thinking the 6 God dropped a King Kong grip on a ride for Savage.
He admitted that Drake simply loaned him a Rari while he was in LA and he loved it so much he ended up copping one for himself.
“Nah, he ain’t buy me no car … He did some real shit,” 21 Savage said. “We was just talking, and I was like ‘Man, I want a Ferrari or some shit.’ So, he just got me one for the whole time I was in L.A. for my birthday. But I fell in love with the car, so I just went and bought one. He looked out.”
This big reveal just a day after Lonzo Ball basically anointed 21 Savage a superior artist to Hova the God himself, Jay-Z.
Either way we’re pretty sure this won’t hurt whatever standing he has in the Hip-Hop game.
