Ever since Loaded Lux’s epic “You going to get this work” performance, Battle Rap has thrived as one of Hip-Hop’s hottest subgenres. Eminem is set to spotlight this integral part of the culture in a new film titled Bodied.
Directed by music video maestro Joseph Khan, the movie will be a satire on Battle Rap that will cover more than intricate bar schemes and epic punchlines. While very few details regarding the plot have been shared, race relations will play a major part in the plot.
Battle Rap stars Dizaster, Dumbfounded, Loaded Lux and Hollow Da Don are set to work alongside Anthony Michael Hall, Charlamagne Tha God, Callum Worthy, Debra Wilson and Rory Uphol.
