90’s Hip-Hop Powerhouse label Ruff Ryders has decided to re-launch as a recording business as well as host a roster of new talent.

According to published reports, Ruff Ryders has officially revamped and is now known as Ruff Ryders Indy and will feature not only new artists, but a new executive team as well.

The new label’s CEO/President Joaquin “Waah” Dean, who is one of the original founders in 1998,  is still on board,  but the label is bringing in the talents of Director of Operations Dedra Tate and Directors of Marketing, Tenisha Rae and Alimah Samsid-Deen to aid in the success of the Ruff Ryder Family.

Even though they will still push their own artists, Ruff Ryders Indy has the primary focus of mentoring new and independent labels and to provide marketing, street promotion, radio promotion and product management, in addition to educational programs offered to label CEO’s to help build their brands.

Ruff Ryders Indy’s roster consists of Drag-On, Mook, Shella, Flashy and Lil Joaquin.

Details on the the label’s future plans are expected to be announced later this week.
