Solange may have taken a break from social media, but not from the real world. The soul crooner has announced a benefit concert to aid Hurricane Harvey victims.
The announcement was made via her Saint Records Instagram page. The benefit concert goes down in Boston on September 28 at the Orpheum Theater and she’s pledged all the proceeds will go to Harvey victims in Texas.
“I will be doing a special “Orions Rise” show in Boston, and ALL proceeds will go towards Hurricane Harvey Relief. I’m committed to partnering with organizations on the ground in Houston and making contributions to uplift the city that raised me with so much love. See you September 28th Boston, I thank you in advance for making this a special meaningful night !
Charity is a family thing, as Solange’s sister, you know her name, is also donating millions to help those in need in their native Texas.
