LeBron James calling Donald Trump a bum over the weekend may not have been very eloquent, though hilariously savage. But today (Sept. 25), King James more than made up for it during NBA Media Day.

While at the podium fielding questions, James spoke passionately, profoundly, strongly and smartly about his issues with Trump, and how he plans to deal with “that guy’s” divisive rhetoric.

“The thing that frustrated me and pissed me off a little bit is that he used the sports platform to try divide us. Sport and sports is so amazing, what sports can do for everyone, no matter the shape, or size, or race, or ethnicity, or religion, or whatever. People find teams, people find payers, people find colors because of sport and they just gravitate toward that and just it makes ’em so happy. And it brings people together like none other.”

He added, “I’m not going to let, while I have this platform, to let one individual, no matter the power, no matter the impact that he or she should have, ever use sport as a platform to divide us.”

James also likening voting for Trump to the mistake of giving your child too many Skittle before bedtime was also go.

Also, King James has NO regrets about calling that guy a bum.

Said James, “He doesn’t understand how many kids, no matter the race, look up to the President of the United States for guidance, for leadership, for words of encouragement. That’s what makes me more sick than anything.”

Where are the lies?
