Cam Newton is getting hit in the pockets for his knuckle-dragging commentary. Oikos Greek Yogurt has dropped the star NFL QB after sexist comments he delivered during a press conference yesterday (Oct. 4).
Newton’s comments to a reporter that he finds it funny a when he “hears females talk about routes” has been widely panned as sexist, and he’s been getting criticized, and slandered, ever since.
Today, Dannon Yogurt has dropped Newton as a spokesperson for their Oikos brand of Greek yogurt.
“We’re disheartened by Cam Newton’s behavior, which we perceive as sexist,” said Oikos in a statement posted on Twitter. “We shared our concerns with Cam & will no longer work with him.”
Do better, Cam.
