Twitter was on fire Saturday night after news that Cardi B and Migos’ Offset ended their romance, but it appears that the “Bodak Yellow” star is ready to work on things. Even though it looks like the Hip-Hop couple will still be a thing, the timeline has been lit with both sadness, support, and a little doubt even into this morning.
In a series of cryptic social media posts, including a very obvious Boomerang gif captioned “Single,” Twitter fans were shook by the announcement as it seemingly came out of nowhere. The online sleuths also connected other dots, such as Cardi’s ex-boyfriend Tommy Geez being released from jail recently and possibly adding that had something to do with the split from Offset.
Adding to the chatter was Bardi posting up an Instagram photo throwing up double peace signs with the caption “Peace Nikka,” which only added to the speculation. Lastly, a message on her Snapchat with her saying leaving a message of “don’t get used” was a final salvo. But the tune changed this morning when Cardi wrote that much of her posting was impulsive with a public apology to Offset, and an offer to take him to Waffle House to make up.
