The Black Ink Crew Chicago squad brought all their beef to Cabo as we saw towards the end of the last episode but it really jumped off last night (Nov. 9). The “fight” with zero landed punches between Velvet and Nikki came to a close.
Thankfully, Phor finally found it in his heart to tell Cobra exactly what was going on with her beloved girlfriend. “Last week when we were all at the strip club,” he reveals. “If I wanted to f*ck, I could f*ck. I coulda got the p*ssy.”
Cobra breaks it off then and there. Velvet tries to talk her way out of it, barely, but Cobra stands her ground and finally ol’ girl just says, “It is what it is. It ain’t even that serious.”
Cold world.

After asking Kat to keep her company on this couples’ retreat, Danielle drops her for Terence as soon as he arrives. So wack. “This is why I like be my boo,” Charmaine gushes. “Because he literally puts me first whenever I need him.” Girl, get the hell on.
So now Katrina’s in her head even more so, desperately wanting to tell Rachel about what’s been going on between her and Ryan. There’s a scene with them small talking while the two women sunbathe by the pool and just as Kat starts, “I’m glad you’re here because…,” Phor, Nikki, Charmaine and Neak all cannonball into the water and Kat says that the universe is conspiring against her. We want her to take the hint. Maybe Rachel shouldn’t hear this at all. Let her figure her man out on her own because the fallout from this? SMH.
Phor finally decides to take things to the next level with his girl Nikki and what happens next is no surprise to any of us. She ain’t all the way there. He shares with her that after some consideration he would like Nikki to move in. She informs him that it was about time because she was planning on cutting a copy of his house key on her own. Who does this? His expression changes and rightfully so. Then she picks a fight, “She’s so defensive about everything,” he tells Don after. “Lame as f*ck.” Phor, get out. Do it now, before you have a kid with this lady.
On the heels of this fight between Nikki and Phor, Ryan has yet another fit which is actually justifiable this time. At a seaside dinner planned by Charmaine, all of the steak is sitting on top of lobster tails and apparently Ryan has a severe shellfish allergy. So he leaves the table in a mood and Kat takes this opportunity to pull Rachel away so they can finally have this talk.
The entire time Kat tells Rachel that he’d been pursuing her even while he was attempting to rekindle their relationship, Rachel doesn’t bat an eyelash. Then she tells her that the two “hooked up” on the lake house trip and it’s right then that Ryan reappears, pulling Rachel away like Debo. “We needed to have a conversation… About the truth,” Kat yells. “Yeah? What is it?,” Ryan retorts and our mouths drop open in disbelief.
The shocker is that the drama that the trailers kept teasing wasn’t between Rachel and Ryan at all but between the two and Black Ink’s production team.
Namely, the executive producer Rasheed who was absolutely with the sh*ts. The fourth wall was broken and it was glorious. “This is how you wanted to run this sh*t my n*gga?,” Ryan screams and Rasheed hollers right back. “Kat wanted to talk to her! I didn’t run sh*t n*gga.” The beef here seemed to be that the producers brought Kat back to the show which Rasheed denied saying that she wanted to come back because she wanted to tell “the truth.”
Instead of Ryan taking accountability for what he did, he blamed everyone else and basically called Kat a liar. He came out of his room later on to demand a cab and announce that he was quitting the show. A grown man, a father and successful business owner and he simply couldn’t bear telling his girlfriend that he was wrong and cheated on her. F*ck boy behavior.
Oh, and Ashley’s at home tripping about the baby.
Next week, things seem to settle as the crew returns home to Chicago and Ryan tells his mommy and daddy about his wrongdoings.
