Colin Kaepernick is still fighting in our name post being named Citizen of the Year by GQ Magazine. The former NFL star took to social media to voice support for Meek Mill.

Challenging what many see as an unfair and harsh two to four year parole violation sentencing, the quarterback took to Twitter to side with the Philadelphia rapper.

“Sadly there are Black folks going through the same radicalized injustice(s) within the justice system that Meek Mill has experienced for over a decade EVERY SINGLE DAY. This requires more than just gradual reform in laws—It requires a swift overhaul” he explained.

On Monday November 13 celebrities, activists and locals took to the streets in a #Rally4Meek march in Philadelphia. His lawyer Joe Tacopina has alleged that Judge Genece Brinkley has a personal vendetta against the rapper citing the official was denied special requests by Mill including receiving a shout out on a record.  It is now rumored that the FBI is launching a probe to investigate if any bias was exercised in the case.

Stay woke, Colin definitely is.
