UPDATE: The bail hearing isn’t happening due to a clerical error.

Meek Mill has been granted a new bail hearing. Unfortunately for the incarcerated rapper, it is scheduled for after the Thanksgiving holiday.

According to CBS Philly, Meek will be appearing before Judge Genece Brinkley on Monday, November 27.

Yes, this is the same judge who Meek’s lawyer’s claim has a “vendetta” against their client after she sentenced him to 2 – 4 years in jail for a probation violation. As his been widely reported, the judge ordered Meek back to jthe bing despite the prosecutors and his parole officer recommending no jail time.

In what has been fodder for conspiracy theorists, Judge Brinkley is reportedly under investigation by the FBI for her behavior in and out of court.

Today (Nov. 17), the New York Times published an op-ed by Jay-Z supporting Meek and chastising parole as a “trap” to send people back to jail. Meek’s lawyers recently filed motions to have the case dismissed.

The plot thickens.
