V-103 Radio Host Ryan Cameron and his “Ryan Cameron Foundation” is excited to announce its continued partnership with the Aetna Foundation to host a Youth Health Fair for the third consecutive year, raising awareness to the nation’s leading youth health concerns.

The Foundations will team up once again for a high profile youth health fair that will give screenings for some of the nation’s most severe diseases affecting Atlanta’s youths.

The RCF’s fair, entitled “Healthy, Stronger, Living Longer Youth Health Fair,” will provide FREE health screenings and testing services for the youth of Atlanta.

For the second consecutive year, the event will broadcast live on V-103 (WVEE) Atlanta between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The health fair is free to all attendees under the age of 18 and will provide screenings for diabetes, blood pressure, sickle cell, high cholesterol, blood glucose, Body Mass Index (BMI), asthma, vision, and dental with tests conducted by associates at Atlanta West Primary Care.

Since its inception in 2008, the Youth Health Fair has given free tests to 1,270 of Atlanta’s youth.

“The number of children whom we can have a positive effect on is the most important thing,” said Ryan Cameron, President of the Ryan Cameron Foundation.

“If we are able to help a child detect something early, we have a chance to make a difference in his or her life. That is what this Foundation has always been about.”

The event will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at The Gallery at South Dekalb Mall.
