The Minnesota Vikings have officially cut wide receiver Randy Moss.
As previously reported Moss was picked up by the Vikings in early October and was reportedly traded by the New England Patriots in return for a third round draft pick.’
The NFL Network reports that the Vikings waived Moss on Monday, one day after he criticized head coach Brad Childress in a bizarre news conference following a 28-18 loss in New England.
Moss indirectly criticized Childress after questioning his decision to go for a failed fourth-and-goal at the end of the fourth half instead of a field goal.
“I wish we could have had that three at the end of the half,” Moss said. “Maybe could have been different, maybe not. …”
