Rapper Nelly will open the highly anticipated boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito this weekend at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

Nelly was chosen to premier his new single, “Just A Dream” prior to the ring entrances of both fighters.

“In the great tradition of major sporting events blending with superstar musical talent, this mega fight is the perfect stage for a big live music performance that will result in a truly memorable event,” said HBO Sports senior vice president Mark Taffet. “We are thrilled to have the live television premiere of Nelly’s ‘Just A Dream’ as part of the Pacquiao-Margarito PPV telecast.”

The fight airs live on HBO Pay-Per-View on November 13.

Nelly’s track “Just A Dream” is taken from his upcoming album, 5.0, which is due in stores November 15.

As recently reported, Nelly appeared on “A Different Spin” to discuss his thoughts on Kanye West’s new grill and the cover of his upcoming album 5.0.

If the St. Lunatic decides to give up rapping he may have a future in fitness. A DVD titled Celebrity Sweat starring the rapper reportedly sold out in many stores after its October 7 release, prompting the makers at Sports Profiles Plus to have to place new orders on back order.
