Pro football legend Lawrence Taylor is back in headlines for his rape indictment, this time for trying to get it dismissed.
As previously reported, Taylor was officially charged with rape in June for having sex with a 16-year-old prostitute in a New York hotel room.
Taylor’s lawyer is now seeking to suppress any statements the ex-baller made when he was arrested and rule out evidence collected because police did not have a warrant at the time of his arrest.
According to the Associated Press, Taylor’s defense attorney Arthur Aidala filed a motion that says his client’s rights were violated.
It says Taylor was “alone, sleeping in his hotel room” when police entered without a warrant and without his permission.
