According to published reports, Master P. and his son Romeo are organizing a benefit concert via his Move With Music organization to support Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign.

“We are taking the initiative to help fight child obesity by educating the next generation on how to eat right and exercise through music, dance and entertainment,” a rep for Master P. said in a statement.

“We are connecting musicians and entertainers through concert events to bring awareness to this epidemic of childhood obesity and health issues.”

Master P’s rep have confirmed that the event will take place on February 11th in Los Angeles and are rallying for celebrities to aid in the fight against poor health.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), over 67% adults are overweight or obese and over 33% of children/adolescents are also overweight or obese.
