Lil Wayne Settles Tax Bill
Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter Jr. recently paid the government $1.13 million in back taxes he owed from 2004, 2005 and 2007.
U.S. government officials filed papers in Dade County Florida Circuit Court last year while Carter was still serving a gun-possession sentence in New York’s Rikers Island prison.
The Young Money CEO paid back the old money he owed in full.
In related news, Wayne is set to embark on his “I Am Still Music” tour.
As previously reported, he’ll be joined by Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and drummer Travis Barker for the tour that kicks off March 18 in Buffalo, New York.
