MURS Talks “Fight Night”
MURS was in L.A. recently prepping for the annual Paid Dues Festival and sharing his thoughts on EA SPORTS ‘Fight Night Champion’ video game.
The rapper who’s also preparing to release his latest project “Melrose” with Terrace Martin, spoke with Cashmere about his track “The Problem Is” featuring Sick Jacken (produced by 9th Wonder) being featured on the video game’s soundtrack.
Speaking on the high energy up-tempo hit he says,
“The song has this energy, that makes you want to punch someone in the face.”
Being the huge gamer that he is, MURS had a few challenges for all other rappers, especially British star Tinie Tempah (who recently challenged MURS to a game and promised to knock him out in two rounds).
In addition to MURS and 9th Wonder, EA SPORTS “Fight Night” features a Hip-Hop infused soundtrack with music from Aloe Blacc, Black Milk, Chiddy Bang, N.E.R.D., The Roots, and British sensation Tinie Tempah.
The exclusive soundtrack will only be available in the game when it hits stores March 1, 2011 in Europe and the U.S.
