The Black Panties album was just one of a few strategic moves up R. Kelly‘s sleeve, according to a statement from IFC revealing that the singer-songwriter’s Trapped In The Closet series will return to television next year.

In case you’re without a clue, R. Kelly is from the Windy City of Chicago and he’s proud of it. So proud in fact that he’s lending studio time to a few upcoming artists from his hometown to promote his new album, Black Panties.

The Pied Piper of R&B, better known as R. Kelly, returns with a sensual tune called “Genius” for your listening pleasure. Legends never die and neither do old habits, as the legend taps into his affinity for crafting raunchy hits on this one.

R. Kelly‘s track record speaks for itself, but as a friendly reminder, he released a new song called “My Story” a few weeks ago. Today he returns with an accompanying treatment.
