Jordan Peele and the award-winning film Get Out has another award to add to its staggering list of accolades. On Sunday (May 20), the stirring horror film won a Nebula Award, one of the top awards that honor fantasy and science fiction creators.

Jordan Peele became the first Black writer to win the Oscar award for Best Original Screenplay for his critically-acclaimed film, Get Out, which was up for four awards. Peele is just the fourth Black writer since 1972 to be nominated, and the first since 1991.

Just a few days after admitting that a crappy movie made him quit acting, Jordan Peele has let the cat out the bag that he will “seriously consider” making a sequel to his classic breakout film, Get Out. Chuuch!!

The Academy may not be in the Sunken Place after all. Today (Jan. 23), the 2018 Oscar nominations were revealed and Get Out received four nods including Best Picture, Best Director (Jordan Peele) and Best Actor (Daniel Kaluuya). 

The Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning (Dec. 11). Jordan Peele’s now classic horror flick Get Out earned two nominations, and as far as we’re concerned the Golden Globes are canceled if it doesn’t win at least one award.
