A major new turn has hit one of hip-hop’s longest-running murder cases, as a New York City judge has ordered the release of a man who was previously convicted in the killing of Jam Master Jay, the legendary DJ of Run-DMC.
Jam Master Jay’s family has sought answers about his murder for the last 20 years but no luck. They seem to be closer to getting justice as the trial has been set for this fall.
