Oprah Winfrey and her OWN cable network are gearing up to debut two new scripted shows from writer and director Tyler Perry this coming May. Perry’s shows, one a drama and the other a sitcom, will be featured in back-to-back debut nights as part of OWN’s original programming overhaul.
You can’t say Oprah Winfrey doesn’t have a sense of humor. Winfrey was on The Steve Harvey Show recently and addressed Terrence Howard’s appreciation on her “tig ol bitties.” Again, his words, not ours.
Terrence Howard clearly lacks any sense of chill. The esteemed actor, aka Djay from Hustle & Flow, appears in an upcoming flick called called The Butler, which includes a love scene with thee Oprah Winfrey. It seems like Mr. Howard thoroughly enjoyed shooting the scene thanks to Ms. Winfrey’s “tig ol’ bitties” (his words, not ours).
Yesterday evening (Feb. 16) was Beyoncé night on cable television. The R&B and Pop diva was on Oprah’s Next Chapter at 8:oopm and at 9:00pm the documentary about her life that she directed and executive produced, Life Is But A Dream, aired on HBO. The latter can be seen below.
