Media mogul Byron Allen has put forth a bid to buy BET and its networks from Paramount Global for $3.5 billion. The news comes on the same day that Paramount is in talks with Warner Bros. Discovery about a merger.
It really would've been interesting to see what Diddy would've had in mind had Paramount Global ended up in his hands.
Paramount Global, which owns several media properties, ended the sale of a majority stake in BET causing its stock price to drop.
