Rich Homie Quan

Rich Homie Quan is looking to bubble and break nationally thanks to his “Type Of Way” hit. So it goes without saying that the up and coming Atlanta rap star celebrated his birthday in style this past weekend with Trinidad Jame$, ForteBowie and more.

At this point, who knows how much unreleased material Gucci Mane has sitting in the tuck. Fans know the Bricksquad rapper is usually good for a project on October 17, but this year’s comes a day late.

There’s been a bubbling situation between Atlanta’s Rich Homie Quan and Future due to comparisons drawn between the two. Today, the former delivers an aggressive track called “A N***a” that’s clearly directed towards the Freebandz frontman.

Though it’s long overdue, Rich Homie Quan returns with an official remix to his breakout hit “Type Of Way.” This time around, the rising lyricist is joined by Georgia veteran Young Jeezy and Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill.

Following an appearance on MTV Rapfix Live, YG debuts the visual for “My N***a,” featuring his CTE World boss Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan.

Rich Homie Quan hears the whispers and comparisons to another Atlanta artist, and answers appropriately with “Another Me.”

Young Jeezy drops “No Pressure,” featuring ATL upstart Rich Homie Quan, from the forthcoming #BYLUG (Boss Ya Life Up Gang) compilation mixtape.

You think you know Rich Homie Quan. You’ve heard a track or two, now you think he’s Future or Cash Out revamped, right? Here’s the thing: the 23-year-old rapper is not Future. He’s not Cash Out either, although the East Atlanta native grew up just a couple of highway exits away from both artists.

Atlanta has a well documented history of churning out summer anthems. New talent like Migos, Two-9, and Rich Homie Quan are doing their best to carry on tradition. Over the weekend, the last of the bunch premiered the visual for his street hit, “Type Of Way,” via MTV.

We forewarned you about the stir Rich Homie Quan’s heater “Type Of Way” would cause in the streets. Rapper’s also took heed. Just days after Ludacris delivered his take on the record, Jim Jones and 2 Pistols delivers a remix of their own.

Ask any informed individual to name one of the hottest songs in the south right now, and they’ll undoubtedly say Rich Homie Quan’s “Type Of Way.” Rappers seem to think so, too. Because of that, we received a remix courtesy of Ludacris yesterday.

Wow, that didn’t take long. One day after announcing his affiliation with Young Jeezy‘s CTE World imprint, YG follows up with a new track called “Ride For My N***a.”
