It seems that Lil Wayne never stopped drinking lean since his last bout of seizures in 2016, allegedly.
This is bad news for anyone with a sizzurp aka lean problem (we’re looking at you, Soulja Boy and Chief Keef). Actavis has taken it powerful Promethazine Codeine cough syrup, the main ingredient in lean, off the market.
With Lil Wayne’s recent seizure scares putting the spotlight back on codeine use, Soulja Boy has pretty much endorsed the drug. Using Instagram to share a photo gallery of his daily life, the Atlanta rapper made sure to put his cough syrup addiction front and center.
Lil Wayne’s isn’t home yet, but he’s on the way to recovery. The YMCMB rapper’s condition has been upgraded to “stable” and he has left the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
Lil Wayne’s health is still shaky. The YMCMB rapper was admitted to the hospital for a suspected codeine overdose six days ago, and remains in the intensive care unit.
