The Roots Announce Undun Album Release Date
Fans waiting on Hip-Hop band The Roots to release their new album don’t have to wait much longer.
The legendary Roots crew announced via the band’s Facebook page that their new album Undun is set for release on Def Jam on December 6th.
The band also revealed that Undun, the group’s 11th studio LP, will be the band’s “first ever concept album.”
“This is going to be our first full-fledged narrative concept album,” Roots member ?uestlove said to Billboard.com in June.
“It’s going to be a challenge to figure out how to get from point A to B — or in this case, point B to point A — and have it seem natural.”
The Roots’ 2010 critically acclaimed album, How I Got Over, was nominated for a Best Rap Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards in 2011 and peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200.
