Veronica Deramous has some serious explaining to do after the 40-year-old-woman kidnapped a homeless soon to be mom and attempted to forcefully separate the woman from her unborn child, by way of no surgical incision.
“She bound the victim’s hands and proceeded to try to cut the victim’s abdomen to try to get the baby out,” said officer Michelle Reedy, spokeswoman for Prince George’s County police department.
Local law enforcement arrived to find Adams covered in blood with her intestines, placenta, and stomach exposed; they believe the deranged woman used a box cutter that was found on scene and various razors.
A police report also indicated Deramous’ 17-year-old as having been involved in the crime, stating that he held the homeless woman’s hands behind her as his mother tied them with electrical and duct tape.
Paramedics delivered Teka Adams, 29, to a local hospital where she gave birth to a healthy baby girl via caesarean section; her name is Miracle Sky.
Deramous has been charged with false imprisonment and attempted first-degree murder among various other charges.
To date, her son has not been charged with anything for his part in the act.
