Sunday, December 20th, 2009Despite having a tumultuous year Tiger Woods has been named the 2009 PGA Tour Player of The Year.
The honor comes from a vote by the players and on Friday, the players voted him to be the ‘Jack Nicklaus: Player Of The Year' for the 10th time in his 13 years on tour.
The tour does not disclose vote totals.
In addition to this award, Tiger also won the Byron Nelson Award for the lowest adjusted scoring average and the Arnold Palmer Award for winning the most money in the season.
Soooo Tiger is the player of the year? LOL! The irony in that statement is hilarious.
Lupe Fiasco Cancels Mixtape

Shane Sparks Arrested For Child Molestation
Saturday, December 19th, 2009Shane Sparks of America's Best Dance Crew was arrested Friday on nine counts of child molestation. According to the LAPD, the suspected events took place in 1994 and a criminal complaint claims that the ABDC judge committed felony lewd acts upon a child.
The criminal complaint list those lewd acts as “oral copulation and other acts with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than the victim.” He is charged with committing nine of those acts on an underage girl.
Sparks is being held on $590,000 bail.
This is crazy and very, very serious.

This Just In! Lil Wayne Detained at Texas Border!
Saturday, December 19th, 2009Although details are still developing, according to the Texas border patrol, Lil Wayne has been detained at an interior border checkpoint. The incident is rumored to be drug related as Wayne and 11 other members who were on the tour bus are being held in Falfurrias, Texas. Geto Boy Willie D Pleads Guilty To Wire Fraud...Awaits Sentencing
Friday, December 18th, 2009Former Geto Boys member Willie D plead guilty today in a Houston, Texas court to wire fraud charges. As Hip-Hop Wired previously reported, Willie was arrested for selling iphones on the Internet and originally plead not guilty to 15 counts.
Willie D, real name William James Dennis, allegedly posed as an online salesman for a company that was selling the iPhone. Dennis would then proceed to take the orders through eBay as well and other online channels.

Oprah Donates $100 Million To Atlanta School
Friday, December 18th, 2009Oprah Winfrey has taken her philanthropic efforts a step further and donated $100 million to an Atlanta middle school. The media mogul donated $1.5 million to Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.
The middle school first made headlines for their "You Can Vote However You Like" YouTube video during the 2008 election promoting voter turnout. Now the middle school is receiving aid from Oprah to help its $2.8 million operating budget.
This is not the first time Oprah has helped the Academy, last December she made a donation of $365,000.
Through Winfrey's philanthropy the school is looking to build a cafeteria, gymnasium and theater.
Wow, Oprah. Can she adopt me now, please?
