  Well it's both Swiss and Alicia's fault. When you take your marriage vow's that means let NO interferrance from anyone. It's a union that no man or woman has a right to interven. If you are a respectful woman or man you won't let this happen. Swiss took sacred vows with Mashonda and fell totally short. Alycia got got caught up in something she shouldn't have messed with in the first place. So what she got pregnant she shouldn't have opened her leggs in the first place.   I am reading in a few comments, people writing that Mashonda and Beatz were separated when he and Alicia got together, and this is NOT true. If you read her entire interview she will state that. Also she met Alicia when she was under the impression they were happily married. POINT BLANK, Alicia knew what she was getting into and she is just as much to blame. What she did was low down! Also do the math! Their son was born today... which means he was conceived in January. Um Beatz and Mashonda weren't officially divorced until May AND Mashonda states that they were not separated prior to he and Alicia getting together.   Alot of people can't seem to understand why folks are so *****ed at Alicia Keys. They think that people are "hating" because of her love and/or relationship with Swizz. But, that's not the reason why. I have nothing against Alicia being in love with Swizz. If that's what your heart feels, then so be it. But, why couldn't you just let the man and Mashonda handle their business first? Like Mashonda said, "respect the family, respect the wife". Alicia didn't have any respect for this woman in terms of how she went about the whole situation with Swizz. That's why everyone is so *****ed with her. It was the "WAY" that she did it. It wasn't her love for him that got alot of people upset, it was the way she went about it. They were still married! She had no busniess stepping to this man and vice-versa. But, it's all good. He actually did Mashonda a favor. By exiting from her life, it's making room for the right man to come along and treat her the way she's supposed to be treated. Now as for him and Alicia....I think the lyrics to her song "Karma" will soon come into play.

  I think it's interesting that Mashonda sits here and states how you have to respect the wife, seeing as Swizz was dealing with the mother of his first child, common law and all, and she stepped in as an up and coming singer looking for a deal and swooped in and took over in his life the same way, even to the point where his first "wife's" child couldn't visit regularly. Her and Swizz were separated for over a year and a half before this new situation popped up. Both of them were back and forth dating and talking to other people, with both of them leaving the other alone. Maybe wives of producers get more perks than ex-wives, huh? Getting into clubs, going to events, and other treats come easier when your a wife in name at least? In the industry, there are plenty people who are married in name only to save face for the spouse who gets used to the affluence. As for A Keys, you love someone enough, you can wait for them to clean their mess up and start you over with a clean slate. How long do you wait, though, if the your love's ex wants more and more money than before because they've become used to a certain type of lifestyle, like spa treatments every week or shopping every other day. I guess it's only right, seeing how they have kids by them, right? Hmmmm...

  I've read in interviews where Swizz stated that Mashonda was a great mother, so NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN she wouldn't let him have any contact with his son or tried to limit his contact with his son (a son born of an affair that he had while still with Mashonda). Swizz Beatz is a liar and a serial cheater. He & Alicia went to London in April because he had to take a DNA test for a lady who has a son that looks just like him and the DNA test results proved that he is indeed the child's father.   Mashonda has shown a considerable amount of restraint because if it was me, I would have beat the F*** out of him and her. If Swizz wasn't happy, he should have filed for divorce before he starting seeing Alicia on a personal level. If this is true then this was the first indication that their relationship wasn't meant to be. I would've headed for the hills then but that is how I would've reacted.   For me, the difference between Ak and everyone else, is that she has made a career and millions of dollars on promoting herself as the "Pro Women" queen. Therefore, it makes her come off as phony and fake. Someone who talks about it, or in this case sings about it, but does not walk the walk. We are all human but there is something to be said about "how" you do things. In this situation it seems that many emotional decisions were made and not a lot of thought went into the consequences of the actions being taken. I pray for all involved, but I will not judge.   My heart cries pitifully when i heard Mashonda's story. I believe that man and woman who are married should stay faithful to one another. Obviously Swizz Beatz cheated on her with his mistress, Alicia Keys. And then Swizz abandoned his wife to be with his mistress, from what the story above says. The Evidence doesn't make Alicia Keys look so hot, but she doesn't care. Seems as if she is head over heels for him becuase he is cute, rich, talented, and probably infatuated with her.
