[Exclusive] Emilio Rojas Talks 'Breaking Point' Mixtape, XXL Freshman & More [Video]

Emilio Rojas came through to chop it up with the Hip-Hop Wired team recently, and discussed a few topics. The NY native spoke on his latest project, The Breaking Point, which had no rap features on it. "The last tape was very feature heavy, and I feel like a lot of people use features as a crutch," said Rojas.

Rojas also spoke with us about being in the running to make XXL Magazine's Freshman list. "To be on the cover is a huge honor. It's a major publication...the things that come with being nominated; its a blessing. XXL has been very supportive to me, especially the website, and everyone at the magazine."

The issue that displays the Freshmen to watch will be hitting the stands very soon, so we'll have to way and see who makes the cut. In addition to those topics, the indie MC touched on his label situation, and what he thinks of being signed to a major imprint. "We've done all of this on our own, without y'all!"

See what else Emilio had to say regarding these topics, and much more.
